Dr. Donald Cassaday is a Family Practitioner with Hemet Community Medical Group, and is affiliated with Hemet Valley Medical Center. He provides patient-centered, accessible care for all ages, including seniors. As a specialist in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Women’s Health, Dr. Cassaday can be trusted to provide excellent treatment and excellent patient education.
With 49 years experience, Dr. Cassaday’s credentials include being a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, American Chronic Pain Association, American College of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and American College of Sports Medicine.
He has produced several medical publications, including for the University of Iowa. Dr. Cassaday formerly served as Sergeant, Special Forces in the U.S. Army, and speaks Spanish as well as English. He accepts plans from many major insurance carriers, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, and is currently accepting new clients.
Michele Caballero, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing expertise. She has held various roles in local hospitals, including Charge Nurse for Telemetry and Step-Down units, House Supervisor, and Emergency Room Nurse. Michele is also a dedicated educator, having served as an adjunct faculty member at Mt. San Jacinto College, where she taught nursing in both clinical and classroom settings. She continues to precept Nurse Practitioner students from different schools in the area.
Michele’s educational journey includes graduating from Mt. San Jacinto College with an Associates of Science in Nursing Degree in 2003, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2006, and completing her Master of Science in Nursing degree, along with Nurse Practitioner certification, from Azusa Pacific University in 2013. She is board certified by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing and holds national board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner for the Menifee Global MSG, Michele has 10 years of experience providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. She is known for her exceptional communication skills and takes the time to build a relationship with each patient in order to provide them with the best care possible. Michele is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal wellness and consistently seeks opportunities to further her education and stay up-to-date on best practices.
In her free time, Michele enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, being outdoors, reading, baking, and cooking. She is also an active member of professional organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and California Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Currently, Ms. Caballero practices in Hemet, CA, specializing in Family Medicine and Nurse Practitioner, and serves as a primary care provider for patients ranging from 5 years old to the elderly.
